Every spring, as soon as I notice the first trees sprouting pink blooms, I do a painting of them. It started almost a decade ago with acrylic paintings, but in the years since my first go at it in 2014, I’ve also done cherry blossoms in watercolour, pencil crayon, and this little sketch I did at the end of summer in marker. I don’t think I’ll ever not adore these beautiful little flowers that remind me of spring 🌸
